Project Description

Athens, Georgia

Renovations are typically a challenge especially when it is to a old building and when there are no existing drawings available. This project was no different, however PEC overcame various construction challenges and, in the end, the clients were excited at the seamless flow within the buildings. The chapel had 12:12 sloped ceilings with no intermediate structure to brace the walls. A modern style truss design was incorporated to brace the walls and the space with the truss became the focal point of the building from an architectural / structural perspective. PEC helped at every step of the way to achieve this distinction.
