Gordon County Agricultural Center

Completed in 2013, the Gordon County Agricultural Services Center is the result of a collaboration between Federal, State and County agencies serving the agricultural community in Northwest Georgia. The project provides offices for USDA, County Extension, and GSWCC as well as University of Georgia’s Agricultural Staff. The facility is approximately 15,000 SF and offers community meeting and training spaces. The facility is located next to the North Georgia Livestock Pavilion and provides needed turn around space for livestock vehicles. The architectural challenge was to design and build a model, sustainable community building within 9 months of design/build contract award. The combination of efforts from PEC and others were extraordinary and the results were above and beyond expectations.
