Typical hotels are built with the intention to have the most economical construction, as most hotels change franchise flags and owners frequently. This particular owner wanted to have a more energy efficient building at the time when LEED system was not developed. Palmer Engineering delivered and successfully designed a building with load-bearing (autoclave aerated concrete) Hebel block wall and floor panels that gave the clients exactly what they were looking for.
